Day 91 Saturday 22nd September Broome - Spring Creek (Bungle Bungles)

Packed up our beloved campsite in Broome  & left at 8 am after a quick photo & more goodbyes with Mandy & Ben....called into camping shop to get a decent pair of hiking boots for Lucy as her others had fallen apart!! First fuel stop was at Fitzroy Crossing. We tried to find a decent toilet as fuel stop ones were not appealing &  the visitor centre was shut, we called into local IGA, which had metal bars surrounding windows and no toilets. Finally found some opposite which were OK, but made  a mental  note not to stop here in future. If time permitted probably would have stayed at nearby Geike Gorge as many people had recommended this as a good spot to spend some time fishing. Refuelled at Halls Creek as last one before Bungle Bungles drive tomorrow. Arrived at our bush camp site at Spring Creek just outside entrance to the Bungle Bungles after dark which was 6pm. (not advisable due to  the increased activity of wildlife around roadside!!!!)  Everyone was feeling pretty exhausted and hot, girls all went to bed at 6.30 & Mum and Dad not too far behind!!!
