Day 43. Sunday 5th August. Great Barrier Reef

Today we caught the Reef Magic boat out to their pontoon on the outer reef and spent the day snorkelling.  Jason did 2 scuba dives for half an hour each then joined  Leanne and the girls snorkelling. We also went on the semi submergible boat to another reef to view more fish and coral. It was a magic day and the reef did not disappoint us with its spectacular colours and tropical marine life. Jason and Leanne went out for dinner whilst Margie and Keith looked after the girls for the evening.

 A pod of Humpback Whales that we came across on the way back to Cairns Marina.

 Again around sunset the sky does not disappoint.
